Batch flotation testing of sulfidic and oxidic ores or industrial minerals and coals is performed with high degree of reproducibility. The test program can be carried out under physical (size distribution, solids concentration, mixing conditions, etc) or chemical (modifiers, collectors, etc) schemes suggested by the client or developed by MinPro. The benefits from such testing are:

- Determination of thermodynamic or kinetic flotation parameters
- Optimisation of flotation conditions
- Evaluation of flotation response for different parts of an ore body
- Evaluation of flotation chemicals

Batch flotation testing may be extrapolated to continuous scale using such test procedures as Lock Cycle.

MinPro has access to all associated laboratory equipment to complement batch flotation testing such as crushers, screens, rotary and riffle dividers, batch grinding mills, test sieves, pH and Eh meters, pressure and vacuum filters and drying ovens.
